After Microsoft discontinued support for Visual Basic in 2008, B4X stepped in to provide a custom suite of development tools for modern devices and applications.
B4X allows developers to write code that is similar to Visual Basic and have it run on virtually all devices including iOS, Android, Desktop, and even Arduino. Perfect for IOT applications.
B4X is extremely easy to learn and is perfect for software classrooms and educational applications, in many ways superior to Python or JavaScript.
It's exciting watching students create their B4X app and be able to experience it on their iOS or Android device.
My investment in 2019 has allowed B4X to become FREE and OPEN SOURCE which is important for a programming language to grow its audience.
